She has been featured in Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, Wyoming PBS, and People magazine. And today we are chatting about soil and food and all the ways these things influence our lives! So, stick around to meet the lovely, Jill Winger.

In This Episode You’ll Learn:

  • A little background on Jill Winger, how she started in Idaho and ended up in Wyoming, and how the homesteading bug bit her and her family. How it takes some trial and error to navigate the homesteading lifestyle.
  • Why soil health matters and how we can help our soil. (The microbes in the soil are amazing!) Also, the importance of learning what soil/landscapes/zones we live in and how that should inform how we grow food.

    1. Yes! Well, at least we do the best we can! I had been used World’s Last Chance app to track the calendar, but I realized that I need to track the lunar phases myself in order to be more accurate!
